Golf Cart Plan


Private Golf Cart Program

Effective January 1st, 2013, Glenmary Country Club Golf Members will have the option to own and operate their own personal golf carts on the Glenmary Golf Course.  Private carts will be required to comply with specific guidelines for brand, body style, and color, and will be subject to inspection annually to ensure compliance. An annual Trail Fee will be assessed to all Private Cart Program participants, and will be determined by the designation of either “Single” or “Family” plan.


Private Golf Cart Requirements

Private carts for use on the golf course must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Must be a Full Single, Couple or Family Member to participate
  • May be Gas or Electric Not older than 5 years
  • Must be Yamaha or E-Z-Go
  • Color must be White or Dark Green
  • Golf Cart cannot be “lifted” in any manner
  • Wheels must be 10”, 12”, or 14”, with standard tires
  • All personal carts must have a current-year, club issued inspection sticker
  • Cart must be covered with personal liability coverage at all times
  • Driver of cart must be 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license


Annual Trail Fees

Annual Trail Fees will be due on the 1st of January each year for all participants.  At this time proof of comprehensive liability insurance coverage under your homeowners policy must be provided.  This policy should cover a minimum of $300,000 per occurrence, covering all claims for property damage and bodily injury.  Use of a Private Owned Cart will be exclusive to the single rider or immediate family members only. If someone other than the owner rides on the cart or uses the cart they must pay the applicable golf cart usage rate charged by the Club.


Single Trail Fee Plan: $650 per year

Family Trail Fee: $975 per year
